I have a court date friday I've never been arrested my charge is resisting public officer as i say again i have no criminal background i mistakenly told them i wanted to hire an attorney when i should of told them i want a public defender

But they were saying i would have to do 60 days in the county jail is that true with me having no criminal background?

You can request a public defender and you can always hire private counsel if you wish
