I’m so thankful and grateful for the Hospitality House of Charlotte! The blessings just keep coming from the moment you walk in the door! I’m forever going to remember how special you all treated me! Being a caregiver; you forget how it feels to be cared for and you ALL showed me! The love from each of you in every way! Greetings, food, making coffee and chatting….it was all BLESSINGS UPON BLESSINGS!

We were referred here from Levine Children’s hospital because we were coming from out of town for my 7 month old son’s open heart surgery. This was a very stressful time for us and they made sure the process of finding accommodations was as stress free as possible. They called us the day we were scheduled to come into town and when I told them my son was going to be staying with us the first night before surgery, they told us because of covid restrictions he would not be able to stay with us. They made a reservation for us at a hotel a mile away from the hospital and still had a very affordable rate considering we were there for a week. I didn’t have to do anything besides check in to the hotel. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful and made the entire situation easy and made it so that there was one less thing we had to worry about.

The Hospitality House is a place to stay at, for out-of-town people needing overnight lodging in Charlotte NC due to medical reasons. A hospital referral is required. The Hoapitality House is a private non-profit entity. Rooms are like a hotel room, with a bedroom and bathroom. There is also a sitting room kitchen and laundry room for guests' use. Family members are allowed to stay while a patient is hospitalized. Parking is available, and there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Rates are very reasonable. The place is safe convenient, and the people working there are helpful, compassionate, and competent. I can't say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. It is my intention to make a donation to the charity to help assure it is there for people who need the wonderful service it offers.

Its a hotel for families that need a affordable place to stay until your love ones leaves the hospital
Yes as long as a family member is in the hospital. Talk with a Patient Representative at the Hospital. They provide meals also.
$45. per night
No but there is an approval process. You need to connect with a social worker at the hospital and they can help get things started.
