Thank you for contacting the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (CTDRS). Yes, you may overnight a check to CTDRS if the remittance is for a personal income tax matter. The Department’s address is 450 Columbus Boulevard, Suite 1, Hartford, CT 06103. For other matters – such as corporate or sales tax - you must remit payment electronically via the online Taxpayer Service Center. If this is a personal income tax matter, you may also use the Taxpayer Service Center. Please keep in mind that December 25 and January 1 are state holidays, and offices are closed.
