What happens to the pledges that are made towards a pet to help with a particular adoption? I have spoken to several people whose pets that they adopted had pledges, but never received the donated funds.

I know. First if you aren't a rescue the pledges don't go for private adoptions. They will go on to another dog and if they get pulled by a rescue then that money goes to that rescue

Cumberland County doesn't accept pledges at this time. These are done through rescues only
