Yes, we go all the time. It is mice to have a place to ho to the woods and feel nature. See squirrels and deer. Running creek. Giant redwoods. All good!!
Absolutely! The cost for day use is $8. The picnic area is wonderful, nestled underneath a grove of giant Redwood trees. There are lots of spots to pick from, creekside, in the grove, and sunny areas too. Trails are right nearby. Oh! And the bbq pits are the best for grilling. They're stone chimney style with good grates, and some are even perfect for smoking.
You most def can. That's exactly what we did when we were there in November. It was great.
