They empty trash daily. If you pile your dirty towels on the bathroom floor they will replace them as needed.
We had daily house keeping but had 5 in our room.
They are now emptying trash daily for DVC members. Towels and full service are as David notes.
If you are staying DVC for 7 days or less you will get trash and towel service on day 4. For stays longer than 8 days, it's a full cleaning on day 4 and trash and towel on day 8. I believe you can pay an extra fee for daily housekeeping service. The cost depends on the size of your room.
