Free, but you might need multiple visits to see it all, and a loan to pay for parking. ☺

Take public transportation. DC is not a good place to drive around unless you are familiar with the area.

Free

It was free when I went. I very much enjoyed it

It's free!

Robert Klanfer | May 6, 2018

It's free which is great because you will need several visits to see all of it. If you're staying in DC take a cab, much cheaper than parking.

Someone save from a parking lot Serca $$

I see a lot of posts about parking costs. You can take the Silver Line Metro from the Whiele-Reston station- which has a parking garage. It costs about 6.00 to take the line to Metro Center North- about a 45 minute train ride, and about a ten minute walk to the Museum from there. The National Mall is within a ten minute walk as well. If you’re going to sightsee and looking to save some dough, taking the Metro and staying in VA will save you a ton. *The Silver line has several stops throughout the greater DC area. Wiehle-Reston just happens to be the last stop in the Metro line, which ends right before Dulles airport.

There is no admission charge, but they do love a donation 🙂 Don't forget parking close can be pricey!

💯 Free. I recommend the impressionist wing - amazing landscapes. Also can't miss the new additions :)
