Any business owner or manager that responds to a review or question from a customer in the manner in which this one did, will never get my business. I highly doubt they will be open for too long with the customer service they displayed here. That response was just immature!
Conveniently left out is the reason why the card was charged additional money; Damages....The door to the room you rented was literally kicked in by someone who was with you. The door AND frame were destroyed. Yes you were responsible for that damage to the property, yes you paid a FRACTION of the cost to replace that door and door frame. You were far from "ripped off"
Personally, I don't trust ANYONE with my cards, and IF I have to use it than I'm sure to get online and adjust my daily charge limit on my account. I also have " verbal coded confirmation option" that REQUIRES any merchant to call an 800 # and verbally convey a password and/or code, or NO transactions will occur.
