The swamp coolers are horrible and make your apartment smell like a fishy pond. And I’d suggest you buy your own can of raid because there are those occasional roaches and outside our porch we’ve had black widows.
The Chateux use swampcoolers and they have pest control out all the time. I've never had an issue with roaches. Maintenance is on top of things they're great!!
