I currently reside here, and when we moved in the closet doors were dented, restroom door was on the brink of breaking off (has since gotten worse), dishwasher doesn’t work, ac is ridiculously loud (you can hear it from downstairs) AND to top it alllll off there’s a bug infestation!!!! We’ve called for two weeks now to get at least this bug issue in order but they don’t care to do much about it! I have a one year old and kept having to throw away food, mountain vista is probably the worst apartment I’ve lived in and it’s only been 4 months. Do what you will with this information and look else where!

Terrible little bed bug and roach infested apartments. Tons of crack head neighbors roaming the complex. It took them 6 weeks to deal with the bed bug problem. We had to throw away a 1000 dollar tv because it got infested with roaches. The staff constantly forgets about everything and they can be rude most the time. We gave our 30 day notice and they just never submitted it and tried to charge us another month when we were moved out at the end of our lease. Seriously don't waste your time with this place unless you want bed bugs. If you like places with dirty diapers used condoms and used minstrel pads just laying around the court yard with roaches on them this is definately the place for you!

Pros: good price for 3 bedroom spacious apartment very good refrigerated A/C, 2 parking ports in front of the apartment for reasonable extra charge. Water was covered by the complex. Spacious outside patio allowed us to have a patio set with table and 4 chairs. Beautiful view facing east towards the mountains. Rapid response when it comes down to Fixing things in the apartment. Cons: There were many cockroaches and flies we have seen them come through the vents. They said they sprayed but We still see them in the apartment. When neighbors cook you can smell the food coming through the fan over the stove making the apartment smell like whatever the neighbors are cooking. WATER!!! has been the biggest inconvenience here waking up in the morning hoping to shower many times they have shut the water off on us for reasons unknown and going to work with no shower. Many times we have woken up to Maintenance people in our apartment or when in the shower and find a man standing in the hallway. I think it’s a very poor procedure and very intrusive if people are home they should be making a call otherwise it can be taken as home intrusion, can put everyone in a dangerous position. Our A/C bill was about $280 granted it did get hot this summer but keeping the place cool at high 70s low 80s was still pricey $240+. Windows had no screens. Very cheap closet doors get stuck and very noisy. Doorknobs very cheap and poorly assembled couple fell off throughout our time here. This place could be better and I’m sure it will be in the future besides the water shut offs, bugs, high AC bills and intrusive home visits, it was a spacious comfortable space.

Had a good friend that just barely moved into these trashy apartments less than a month ago. While I was helping with the move I noticed that most of the windows did not have screens on them, even on the second floor. Management could care less if you report that something is not working. Almost a month and still no one has showed up to fix some major problems. Water leaks everywhere and when the weather is bad it smells of mold. Shifty neighbors that are constantly doing what looks like illegal action all during the night. This has been a rough move for my friend and the thought of going home to a new place and relaxing has been extremely disappointing. I will be looking into contacting the renters hotline and also the city inspector concerning the screens. I spoke to the fire marshal and was told that this is ridiculous considering that there are many children in this complex living on the second floors with no screens on the windows. Even if management remotely acted like they cared it would be of some advantage. They don't hesitate to take your money but make horrible management decisions. It is very sad, because this is not a bad area of the city, but you feel like you have gone into the ghetto when you drive into this place. Bad decision to make this place your home.
