A five star place to live! Great location near campus and a seemingly endless number of restaurants right outside. Fairly new construction, great architectural design, cute apartments. However, the best part for us was Teri, the community manager. No matter what was going on, she responded super fast and always made sure everything was taken care of. She puts together community events and she cares about her residents. As long as she is running the show, I have no doubt that Bricklight will continue to be a wonderful place to live. Thank you Teri!

The Bricklight Apartments are a fantastic place to live. The close proximity to UNM and countless bars and restaurants makes living here very convenient, and the units themselves are comfortable, functional, and spacious. Teri, the property manager, is great to work with. She is extremely friendly and accommodating. She always goes above and beyond to ensure her residents have a great experience during their time in the Bricklight Apartments.

I have lived here for nearly a year and love it. The apartments are spacious and beautiful, and the environment is surprisingly lovely for such a busy part of town. Both complexes are gated, and they are only half a block from UNM. Bricklight Courtyard apartments do allow pets, with a deposit, but I have experienced no noise problems with the animals living here even though I know there are lots. Downsides: the 115 Harvard complex is a bit louder than the one at 116 Harvard, as there are several shops and restaurants down below. Not all of the apartments have as many windows as I would personally like, but these are two very minor problems with a truly lovely place. I would absolutely recommend living here.

Questions & Answers

Why don't the apartment at 116 Harvard have cameras installed? Several resident's cars were broken into then weeks later one of those same cars had a tire slashed while parked at the complex where they pay a monthly off street parking fee. Really?

Good Afternoon Rebecca, Thank you for your question. While you are correct that our residents pay for permit parking it is to secure a space for just them and is not a secure parking space like a garage. Unfortunately Albuquerque is fast approaching the number one city in the country for car vandalism and theft. Harvard isn't the only neighborhood in Albuquerque suffering from this type of crime and we are as concerned as you are with the increase that is effecting our residents. The Partners have worked very hard with Councilman Pat Davis on securing funding to install cameras all along the block and to increase Security and a Police presence. We've applied for the SAF Zone which will allow funding however it does take time. We are doing what we can in the mean time. We've increased security on the block. As soon as the funding comes through those cameras will go up. Thank you for your input. It is much appreciated. Teri Shaffer Community Director Bricklight District
