As far as I know, you would have to talk with a case manager at shelter about that but they still have to do an assessment first
I agree with Mr Floyd A, if you go to 30th street shelter they will register you into the system and you will have a bed assigned to you you will also get a case manager who will work with you and help you get a place
Yes I agree, do talk to Ms O or Mr z. I've been in the 30st St assessment, and am going back myself and will be in the same situation. Every place I call even if it's an assessment shelter, I/ you will have to through the intake men's shelter on 30th Street. If you find something sooner congrats. But anytime you leave a system they place you in, u'll have to return to the 30th Street intake shelter. Which from what I found out today... The intake process is now open anytime of day/ night. So don't stress. If you need an immidiate bed placement go to the 30st shelter, follow all housing rules, don't back sas the staff, security, or social workers/ councilors. Based on ages housing might have better options so always call 311 first or your insurance and see what options are available before you go to the 30st shelter. When you get to the shelter they will give you a counselor and they will give you options and since you have a job you might have to be there for 4to 6weeks but the best people to talk to is mr.z and ms.o
