Is 400 E. 30th St. The main intake for all the boroughs? How long do you stay there before you transition to a Bronx or Brooklyn shelter. Thanks for your answers.

Yes it is and usually its just one day , it all depends on the availability of places ,I was there one night , then got transfer to schwarz on Randalls Island where I got assessed , I was there a week and after I got sent to a hotel in midtown Manhattan ,

I signed up there and left the same day to a different shelter

The process is about 2 and a half hours .
