Why does this site not inform us of the Park's closure? 4 of us travelled all the way from Australia and Malaysia to be disappointed when we reached Cedar Breaks

It was on the news that the park probably will not even be opening at all this year. Way too much snow this year.

We were there in January and there was a LOT of snow and I believe they have gotten a lot more since then. No one can predict how much snow there will be for the winter so, they would not be able to predict when the park will be closed or reopened due to the weather. Just like Hurricane season......we paid a lot of money to go to Mexico a couple of years ago and because of a TERRIBLE hurricane all flights were cancelled. The destination itself was okay but getting out of the US was not possible. We lost a lot of money. We learned a valuable lesson and will DEFINITELY do more extensive research before taking another trip like that. Weather is never a guarantee. I do hope that you found some other beautiful places to see while in Utah. The park was covered in snow but we rode snow mobiles and the views were breathtaking.

I'm sorry I have no idea, I wasn't aware it ever closed except maybe for snow in the winter
