Good question, Hugh. The elevation varies throughout the park and they do have signs telling you the elevation. Reality is this park sits above 11k in some areas so if not used to altitude, take it easy, take lots of breaks, stay hydrated and if you feel a headache come down from that point to a lower altitude. The good news is there are park rangers who are well trained to help. Hope this helps!
