There is a private campground somewhere on Lake Rouseau. You can probably find it by google.
If you want you can try the plantation inn its supposed to be REALLY nice but $ muchos moneys🇺🇸😇 I stayed at the holiday inn express 110$ breakfast incld pool and jacuzzi Some rooms have jacuzzi s but its 139$
Yes it is next to the tubing center by Dunnellon High School. GPS the high school and it's on the same road. Very easy to find. It's a state park campground but I'm pretty sure it's full hookup except cable TV. I'm not sure what you mean by private but it's a regular camp ground where you rent and control a small camp site. Some sites have more privacy than others but it's still a regular camp ground with all the communal aspects that entails (people walking dogs and wandering around etc) I hope that helps. You can go tubing right near by on the weekends.
The campground is open year round. It is $30 +tax per night. You can make reservations up to 11 months in advance and it is highly recommended as we stay booked year round. They are full hookup and we have nice bathhouses.
Well they do have a camp ground area which is secluded with the forest and is right on the springs. Really nice.

There is Rainbow Springs State Campgrounds just around the corner from the main park, I believe on Rte. 40. Looked like it would be a great place.
