All the pilots that fly out of this freaking airport use my house as a way point. It's pretty annoying living in a county such as marion where officials and or municipalities don't give a darn. Just had a single engine emergency land in my neighborhood. See, all these home investors come and hire these local pilots to fly very cheap around people's homes and properties, that aren't even for sale. I'm from southeast Florida, I ain't never seen something like marion County and they keep gladly collecting mytax dollars. Time to vote em all out if ya ask me you all fly unsafely and do not care

Marion County Airport is a great place. The fuel is cheap. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Great place for a fuel stop and more. It is about 15 min away from good restaurants, hotel, and more.
