We attended a wedding in Ocala and the couple wanted a piece of wood to brand their initials in. We were lucky enough to find Robert. He is extremely friendly, helpful and amazing stories to tell. He helped us find a piece of wood that actually came from Dunnellon, which is where the actual wedding was held, and told us the story about where the wood came from and the connection to Dunnellon. Of course, we videoed him and forwarded it the happy couple. I told my husband, that it is a good thing we don't live closer, because Robert's place could be dangerous. So many amazing pieces of wood.

Yes, most of the hardwoods are kilned dried, and is graded by the NHLA specifications. I do have hardwoods that I have milled and air dried and when it's stacked for sale the moisture content is usually 11%

Due to constraints of space we do not offer outside drying. I know of know one in the area who does. However pretty good results can be obtained via air drying, but species of wood and thickness of cut play an important role in that. For tips and tricks, you can reach me ( Robert ) during business hours. Good luck on your project.
Yes
Yes, you'll get 4 healthy boards from it or 5 just under 1",
Well Mrs Cheryl,, Based on your brief question,, It seems to me that this would need to be done with the appropriate gauge of plywood, which would be in 4x8 sheets,, if the Christmas layout could not fit within a sheet of plywood, it would need to be lengthened,, o.k. that said,, the layout of just the peramater profile could take hours,,What you may be looking for might be a labor of love, best done by someone retired or a hobbiest. I myself am not interested, but should I run into someone, I will forward this info on,,,Good luck,,, Robert
