No fishing allowed inside the park or on the river of you are in a boat or kayak. BUT if you go down the river, a way from the head spring, it eventually leaves the "Park" area and you are free to fish there.

Rainbow Springs is broken into 3 part. The visitors part, the campground, & the tubing exit area. No fishing in the visitors section. The campground is open to fishing. If your boating you can fish anywhere after the sign in the river that says entering or leaving the park. It Crystal clear spring water so spinner baits work best 👍

I'm not so sure about in the park, but you could take a reel with you down the river. Don't think it's the best place to catch fish, but you never know
