Is Hindsdale a no-kill shelter and do you take cats? My friend has a cat she needs to rehome.

Hi Janet - thank you for asking! Yes, we are "no kill". Please read our policy at: https://www.hinsdalehumanesociety.org/about/responsible-sheltering-policy

The shelter takes animals for re-homing when space allows. Please have your friend call the shelter directly and speak with a staff member about scheduling an appointment.

They are a no kill shelter and yes they take cats. They have a very nice cat enclosure there and also a 0layrook so they can socialise with other cats.
