I agree. Take him to the vet and report the abuser. Also, we just adopted a pit from ACC and he had some hair loss. There is definitely a stress component. It's been two weeks and his hair is coming back. Good wishes to you and your new pet.

Take him to see a vet, especially if there was abuse. I would also report the abuser to the police.
