The Animal Control Center shelter will accept the kitten & do the best it can for it. There are also some great rescue orgs that you might want to contact too, like K9Kastle, Cat Cafe on Atlantic Ave, and Little Wanderers. I have experience with the 1st one - got my cat from them and they are great. I recommend you do it that way (shelter or rescue org), so they can assess who wants your cat and will take care of it.
