ACC has many cats go choose from. I'm very confident you can find an appropriate cat fir your family.
You can go to the animal shelter with both children's and see which one you like and adopt one. You may have to go there few times coz its hard to find kitten. If you are looking for any particular one go to the website and register for what kind kitten. As soon as they find you will get an email. Good luck
They had more cats than dogs when I was there. They ranged in age from young kittens to older cats. I'm sure you'll find something. I was smitten with a few that were there. Definitely bring the children along. Just be prepared they may each pick their own to adopt.
