Hi Caryn, most animal organizations don't pick up/rescue animals off the street except Animal Control. Your best option is to contact Neighborhood Cats or vist the website of Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals. They have a list of private rescuers in all 5 Borough's, so you can contact one closes to you to help.

I was taken care of her for a long time and now she has moved into the development that I live in, inside their one of their garages...I need someone to come out to Queens and rescue a stray cat and her kittens...Before my development finds out that she is in the garage with her kittens are there and call Animal Control and I don't want that, because that would break my heart to see any animal killed...I think she moved them their to protected them, because I know that there is other strays in the area and I read that some of them can kill them....I am not look for someone to catch and release...I am trying to find a shelter that her and her kittens can found a forever home to be happy and off the streets. Do you know anyone that can help catch her in the garage with her kittens....Her kittens are not even 2 months old yet. They were born around Valentine's Day!
