Hi I have a question so I have a frenchie my dad doesn’t want her in the house anymore and I have allergies and I don’t want my frienchie to go to shelter. I was wondering if I can talk the staff for them to take my frenchie up for adoption?

Hi! If you surrender your dog at the ASPCA, they will ensure that she is in suitable shape to be put up for adoption in terms of her mental and physical health. Evaluating her might take a few days before she's put up for adoptio.

Just as Guha mentioned, if you take the doggie to ASPCA or any shelter, they need to hold the doggie for few day for medical and behavior clearance. This is for the animals' and people's safety. But they dont always take owner surrender, please call and talk to the straff to arrange for the surrender. They will find it a new home if they can help.
