My cat have an eye infection one eye is totally closed the other one is open. I was in the hospital for a couple of days and he was locked in my room on third and unattended. In June you’ll be 11 years so he have lost Close to 8 pounds

Please first call the Humane Society on 59st between 2nd and first ave tell them you need an appointment and why its an emergency. There very inexpensive they will go by your income if times are hard and both u and ur cat willbe so happy you called

Call them. You might want to take your cat to the emergency room at a vetrinary clinic. The Humane Society does not have staff at night.

Extreme weight loss is very concerning. I would call them, explain the situation and see if they can take a look at your cat asap.

Get the poor animal to a veterinarian as soon as possible. I dont know how he lost 8 lbs in a few days or got that infected in such a short time but the Humane Society can tell you the poor cat's situation. Call them.
