I perceive customer service to be a dying skill set, so my expectations of customer service are very low. This is a genetal observation not directed specifically at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. As for my experience kayacking, my 3 grandsons and I had a blast. We were able to get 2 tandem kayaks, they assisted us get them in the water, they had vests and paddles available, they collected the equipment at the end, and gave us a ride back to the parking lot. Will definitely go back again.
Just got back. No problems at all. Everyone was super friendly. Keep in mind that most if the workers are just kids basically.

Yes, they are not very friendly. They have been nasty every time. I thought it was just a fluke the first couple times, but after 10 years and different ownerships, it still is the case! So strange. But I don't let them get to me!! It's still one of my favorite spots.

I’ve been going to Weeki Wachee for years and the people working there ARE getting more rude than ever. I’ve heard that management is HORRIBLE. It used to be you could enter the water as late as 3:30 PM and now the latest launch they have is noon. I understand it is an ecological conservative movement and I’m very happy for that but I think special concession should be made for the locals who don’t go during the weekend to avoid all the crowds. I’m a local guide and I can tell you I’ve never been anywhere where the customers are treated so poorly.
Although I've had those experiences other places, I was treated very well here. All staff was A+
