I love my dog and as far as expenditures go I would do anything to make sure that is health was where it should be. I knew going into this that I was looking at at least 300 to $500 a year for healthcare. Sand Creek animal hospital has always been there for me when I needed them and I trust their advice.
I am down one dog. We just went on Friday last. Pop ck , blood ck, office call, meds x 2 ( were 300. By them self ), together was 550. For 35 min. Time. Dr was good w dog. She has allergies and is scratching so bad she's drawing blood. Dr. Has called 3 times to ck. On her over holiday weekend. Pretty good. I like them, my husband wallet not so happy. That's men.
Our cat has been a long terms patient, physical and shots run around 100 but he has a condition that requires treatment every 6 to 8 weeks, candy that runs aboutv40
I took two of my dogs fit their annual checkups and it cost me roughly $1100. I do all the blood tests that they recommend. However, you can get away with not doing them all. As it turned out one of my dogs has Lyme disease, so that was an added expense. They are expensive, but they really care about your animals.
They are on the pricier side. I never walk out of Sand Creek without paying at least $100... Thats typically an office visit with one or two vaccinations, for a cat. Not sure if prices vary for dogs
