If you're near a light rail station, park and rode. $2 each way, take the Winchester line to either Diridon or San Fernando stops and walk a block. Otherwise, parking onsite is $20 to $25 during events. Sharks games are $25.
FREE PARKING GARAGE: San Pedro Square walk 1 block to the Tank, or catch free bus on W. Santa Clara. Not much free street parking on game days.
You can park at the train station across the street. If you get there 3 hours early it's $5.50. if you get there late $25. Then go down the street to Brits Pub have a cold one and some appetizers before the game.
I always park under the 87 freeway, just down from the SAP on Santa Clara, $15 for event parking.
sap center parking onsite usually 20 bucks. 10 bucjs across the street.
There is also a lot of parking on the streets ans lots nearby. Depends on how far you want to walk vs how much you want to pay
The cheapest parking is under the overpass at 87. But there is parking at the arena also.
