This restaurant been here for a while and am sure the building is older than the restaurant which makes it a nice historic location in the heart of San Jose. Their menu is on the wall, you pick your food and get your number, enjoy some drinks at the bar if you want until your name/number gets called and you get seated with your starter (salad with your choice of dressing) and waiting for you at your table. Good service. The prime rib served only two days out of the week is really good. Wish they had more sides to pick from. Tried ordering the bbq mushroom and bbq onion - both is a no go! The garlic bread is scrumptious. And to the main event - the baby back ribs! All served with baked potato on the side. We enjoyed it all. We also sat outside making our experience merrier. Will come back to taste the bbq salmon and the chicken.

The restaurant itself is charming and has a nice history to it. Offers steaks and BBQ. Good selection of drinks and cocktails as well. The steaks are okay. Not the best, not the worst. I asked for my steak rare and it came out medium. That's just cardinal for a steakhouse. I didn't make a fuss or send it back, just ate it because I don't believe in wasting food. I'd still recommend this place because staff are quite friendly.

I am more of a local guy than a chain guy. Found a great local establishment that seems to be a fixture in this community. The place was very cool, the bar area is inviting, but the weather was so nice, I had dinner outside. TVs in the lot are a nice touch. I was lookin for some ribs and Henry’s delivered the goods. I had ribs and a steak. The ribs were spectacular and the steak had a nice taste, slightly overdone. Not really complaining though. The staff was great, Jorge was very attentive. Everyone seemed to be hustling because it was very busy. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses!

There is handicap parking in the small parking lot in the back with a ramp nearby. This goes into the restaurant area in the back rather than the bar in front.
Outdoors seating in the parking lot. Heaters for half the tables. Besides that, they wear masks are tables are far apart.
They do if you were going to have a large party i would maybe make one, but normally you don't wait long and hanging out in the bar waiting area is always great always great people a lot of regulars I have never ever didn't feel 100% comfortable and I started going with my parents then my kids and now we go with our grandchildren..love it love it love it
They only take walk-ins. Go in, take number, and they take order by number. When order is taken, they get name, then call name when table is ready.
Fed-Fri lunch hours 12:30-2:00 and dinner hours are Tues-Sun starting at 4-8 or 9 some evenings
Obviously
Yes
You just go in, get a number. They call your number, you tell them your order. Once your table is ready, they call you again.
Yes, you can eat at the bar.. Not sure the best time ti arrive for a concert. But 5pm should be more than ok..
Yes. They open at 5pm
They do not take reservations and you will need to get there exceptionally early if you plan to eat there before the game. No disrespect to Henry's but there are plenty of options around that won't be nearly as packed.
It's got amazing bar b que... and great employees...
Yes they do
I want to say seating starts at 6pm but I'm not 100%, check check the website. Better yet, get there at 5pm and have a beer.
Yes, they do. But it's best to call a day ahead if it's over 10 people. They can get pretty busy.
Yes. Aside from the bread, most of the dishes are gluten free.
When you arrive you have two options: Grab a stool at the bar and order food there or take a number from the box just under the big menu. When they call your number, they will take your food order then you will have another wait before they seat you and serve your food.
