I used Peter's Bakery for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing. We went with three different flavors of burnt almond (pumpkin, vanilla, and swirl). We purchased column stands and created a "deconstructed 3 tier cake" ourselves. Peter's staff customized the cakes to capture our wedding requests perfectly. The cake was amazing in taste, appearance, and price. Can't recommend them enough.

The custard is delicious! I only experienced the custard in the Burnt Almond Cake. Need to go back to try some of the many other items they make.

Busy, long line! But fast service when you get in. Not to many verity of pastry, maybe 10 or less than 15 kind of pastry and cookies. But very delicious . We tried Eclairs, whipped cream apple turnover, choc choc and lemon crunch, which was one from each kind of available pastry. My favorite was Lemon Crunch. I think it is the only bakery in this neighborhood, and it is good.

Peter's Bakery is a local family-owned business not sure who owns and operates it now but Peter fast a very long time ago. To my knowledge they do not FedEx their baked goods..
You can only order the cake from Peter's Bakery and all you have to do is call. However, someone will need to pick up the cake because they do not deliver.
That i know of they are only local to San Jose. I don't know if they ship.

Different prices based on size. You can get a decent sized cake for about 20 bucks. They also have burnt almond cupcakes and cake slices for sale as well

There are several products containing almonds, so I would be concerned about cross contamination.
They have all kinds of cakes ready for walk ins, and will do a light decor even with short notice. Just call the main number to see what they have. They usually have beautiful strawberry rings available too.Their specialty is the burnt almond cake; and my family favorite are the custard eclairs. They also have a chocolate burnt almond which is my favorite. Enjoy!

Maybe you are thinking about Aki's, which was on Meridian, near San Carlos. Dick's Bakery, also known for their Burnt Almond Cake, had a location further south on Meridian. I don't recall if that had always been their location.
No, this bakery does not deliver. If you have a large order, always call to reserve. They aren't open on Sunday.
