connector. That is listed as a Generation 2 Unit. I received a gen 3 unit What can I do?

I think I'm going to return because it was designed for cars that are newer than 2018

Use it but you won't get full 72 amps since it only is capable of 48 amps or return it and find a used gen 2 unit which can deliver the full 72 amps.
