This is incredible! They locked my account too and I sent emails and messages s through the website, proved that all my money was on PayPal and I have to pay things right now or I’m losing my apartment, school, visa status.... and absolutely no answer! No one is answering the phone neither nowadays! I have been calling for 3 days no answer! Is there some employees working at their office in San Jose during the pandemic? I live in Los Angeles but if I don’t get an answer from them now, I will drive to San Jose and protest in front of their building until I get my money back!
My account is locked for no known reason "Their words". I've been on the phone with them every day for a week, with no resolve. They continue to tell me they will resolve it, check back tomorrow. Then today they said they could not remove the block, that I should consider leaving the money in my PayPal account. They suggested I try moving the money by paying someone I trust. What kind of corporation operates like this. It's been 28 days waiting to access my money. I'm having to pay for inventory, shipping and other expenses out of pocket while PayPal holds my money. Ebay is getting paid, just not me. Seems a little suspicious.

Same here. I received an email last night saying that my account has been closed due to security issues. I checked my account and there is no fraud activity at all. I leave and comment on there FB and redirected to the chat boot. If they can't resolve this, next step is I will go to their office and file a complain. Glad I'm just 10 mins away.

Yes, I was charged $99.00 for something I had not purchased. I was never sent anything either. so they never take the $99.00 but call it a -$99.00 so they send it to collections, shut down my account and I have zero access. I call get put on hold and then nothing. I get a call back, they transfer me and nothing. No way to contact a person. PayPal was suppose to protect their users. That was the only reason I chose to use them. Total BS and still no help or response.
They didn't lock me out but they won't let me put money in my account, until I give them my SSN and ID card.

Don't use paypal, they dont care about you, only your money, they dont even care about your honest opinion on their customer survey, if they dont like your answers they wont even submit your customer survey. I never receive my verification code from paypal, so i cannot access my account, there is no customer service and no other way for me to get my money out. I have filed a complaint with the FTC. I strongly suggest to not use paypal for your business, because it happened to me and many others from what i can read here and on their help center, paypal does not care about their customers, they never reply and they don't bother on helping any one of their customers.
I think i am not alone of having his money locked in Paypal Account for no reason given. they just explain to release the amount in 180 days. They still do these kind of behaviors because people still use ebay. I have written a complain to the Luxembourg regulator but soon also the general Attorney of California.

I have just recently had the same experience with this company and no reasonable explanation as to why, but that some how I violated the Acceptable Use Policy, which I have reviewed and see no reason for their decision. They are holding my funds hostage as well as the other cards on the account.

Yep, and other issues. Their marketing department sent a fake card in place of the card that I was supposed to get on the same day I was supposed to receive the real card. Now they’re trying to double charge me for having a second card. They’ve canceled my real card, blocking me from taking my money out and won’t let me escalate the claim. Hackers got into my PayPal account and sent 62 unauthorized transactions totaling $5,217.02 from 2 separate checking accounts linked to the account. The banks refunded the transactions. I never send money to anyone, I use PayPal to pay for car parts on Ebay, that's it. Anyone can tell that the transactions were fraud just by looking at the names and fake email addresses. PayPal is denying my claims and is accessing my bank accounts trying to get the money again. I have had to get a lawyer to get this nightmare to stop. I will never, ever again use PayPal. This is the most corrupt, unethical organization I have ever dealt with.
PayPal just stole $900.00 from me so I reported PayPal to the Federal Trade Commission, to the Attorney General in my state and to the BBB, PayPal have thousands of complaints on BBB and complains on Facebook people are saying how PayPal stole their money and I will be reporting PayPal to other federal agencies.

I was calling PayPal for the same reasons. Every time I bought up the FEDERAL lawsuit against them for illegally freezing personal property and also violating the RICO laws they would disconnect the call. Or tell me I wasn’t respectful to them. WHAT?! Those poor stupid reps.
They limited my account after a vendor shipped what I ordered to an old address. I moved two years ago and she has shipped to me here three times since I moved. I changed my address with paypal after I moved. They are protecting the vendor even though I proved she shipped it to an old address and her invoice didnt show a physical address to ship to. So I went to my bank. I live in Texas and according to Texas banking laws my bank has the right to reverse the charges or as paypal calls it a "chargeback". So they limited my account and are insisting I send them a copy of my bank statement, photo ID, change my password and my security questions. They lied to me and told me its a banking law and they have no choice. Mind you i sent them screen shots of everything I needed to back up my position. During all this I had someone send me a payment for something I sold her and they are keeping the money from me. I also cant remove cards or bank accounts from my wallet because Im limited.
I made purchase a alkaline water machine for great deal for $99 and then never recieved after confirm it was delivered. I found the address it was send to and they get the paint spray machines. If they live close, only god know what I am going to do to them!!!🤬
Me, as well. Thinking about getting a class action lawsuit started.They have never told me what they think it is I've done. I've had four Representatives tell me they see nothing wrong with my account. I said they don't see anything because I did nothing wrong!
Same problem. And their beligerent client reps accuse me of lying because their "infallible" computers tell them I must be wrong. We should all get together and file a class-action lawsuit.

I just had a guy Win my auction, sent his money and now I can't even retrieve without email verification. Went to verify my email with PayPal, was redirected to the contact number, none of which would answer any of my calls. I'm about to call San Jose police and have a unit sent over there.
Did anyone else get told to go and buy gift cards to transfer the money out of account by the operator? Seems illegal because why should I take money out of my card to put on another cards? When they haven't never told me what I allegedly did wrong for them to freeze my account? And now all this verify stuff but where were they when I filed complaint against seller for fraudulent business. I never got refunded and they didn't let me stop the payment told me wait.

Yep bought a drone. USPS says its a legitimate tracking # but get no emails back from company. Its been 2months and I feel ripped off.
