If you can buy anything besides a Roku for your streaming needs I recommend doing so (Chromecast, Apple TV, Fire stick... whatever). The devices they make work great when new but once they're older it seems like they handicap them through updates similar to what Apple does. I own five or six and all were great and fast when new but now all are next to unusable (Roku 2, xD, xs... etc. it doesn't matter which device). They're all basically paperweights at this point. They will fleece your wallet and then make you regret being a return customer. Loading any app is painfully slow. You could almost go buy another device in the time it takes to get into one of the apps and start playing a show. Unreal. It's like they're trying to make their customers switch to the competition 😄

I like the Roku streaming device. Wish the remote had a backlight feature. The Roku channel is ok, but WAY too many commercials. I stopped watching it because of that.
