There are actually 3 parks. Universal Studios Resort, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Volcano bay(waterpark). You can purchase tickets for just one day for one park, or you can by a 2day ticket for two parks and go on two separate days, or you can by a 3 day ticket for 3 different parks. But! Then you can buy I admission to one or three parks and go for the whole week. They run deals etc. We had a terrible connection on the website, so don't hesitate to call the resort liaison to get exactly what you need. You don't have to wait to speak to a human and they fixed us right up and we picked up at willcall. Personally, we bought 2 day, 2 park tickets. The resort and the islands. Fantastic places. We're not water park people, but if you are but don't want to purchase Volcano bay admission-toon lagoon Island is nothing but water rides and fun water things to do. They even have standup human dryers lol.
I had a military pass and traveled with a 7y & 9y we had the passes that last til Dec which included both parks in the same day or whenever we wanted to go and my 7y wanted to do both parks in one day which we did 🤦🏼♀️ no we didn't get there early we just had the kids pick what they wanted to do to make it easier for us we also stayed at Cabana Bay which was walking distance to volcano Bay we chose not to do Volcano Bay because it was not included in are tickets the pools at the hotel and beach was fine for us but everyone is different so we plan on going back in Dec too
Just buy tickets online. When you’re get there just show them the email. You can try both of parks. Should spend 2 days.
3 parks. 2 ride parks and Volcano Bay is a water park. That time of year I would skip the water park (if it's even open). Would recommend a minimum of 3 days if you want to see everything in Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Anywhere online will be cheaper than buying tickets at the gate. It will save time when first entering the park as well. ALSO, when purchasing tickets, make sure to get park to park tickets, NOT base park tickets. That way you can travel between the parks on any given day and ride the Hogwarts Express. Base park tickets restrict you to one park per day. Not ideal. If you work for a big corporation they might offer discount tickets through your company (I work for Starbucks and they offer discounts on certain types of tickets). But the Universal website prices aren't terrible. Just make sure you are not browsing the in state resident ticket prices (Florida/California). If staying in a Universal hotel, you can also get park tickets through the hotel.
We called universal resort website #, they offer very good deals including airfare, hotel and park tickets. We only booked for 2 theme parks, we spent 4 days going in and out of both parks- universal studio and universal island of adventure. It was fun. And book for hogwarts express , quite an experience. You just need to be early entering the park.
Try website Tripster usually very good bundle deals, also stay at least 1 night at a Universal Premiere hotel, will include Express passes for 2 days, check in and check out day. They give you front of line access to almost every ride with your regular ticket. Agree with park to park tickets also. With excited 2 days park to park is more than enough
Choose proper hotel , like Royal Pacific and receive extra park days plus express passes. Make sure you have park to park tickets to fully enjoy Harry Potter area. It is split between 2 parks.
We've just returned from a 4-wk trip and had the Universal 14day 3park tickets as it worked out cheaper for our schedule. Just remember that to queue-jump (only selected rides! you would need to buy an add-on Universal Express Pass, which range from approx $90-$120ea pp per day (!)...we did not do this because of the unreasonable cost (Disney Parks only charge between $11 & $17 pp per ride per Lightning Lane Pass, restricting to two pp per day) but never stood in line for longer than 75mins (only once per day as we couldn't deal with wasting our time queueing rather than enjoying the rest of the park) when using the Universal App to follow ride standby (waiting) times. February is always quieter in Orlando so you shouldn't have an issue with crowds. If you're not bothered about water parks, then only buy the 2-park tickets. And finally DO NOT MISS the Velocicoaster, Rip Ride Rockit, Hagrid's Magical Creatures ride, Kong Skull Island and Harry Potters Forbidden Journey!
You need by the tickets for each park. Universal, Island of adventure and Volcano Bay. I recommend stay in the Universal Resort you have more time to spend in the park.
Hi, just finished my trip here. I created my own on the website. Purchased tickets for each park(U.V. Studios, U.V. Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.) We stayed at the Dockaide resort for 6days, 5nights. You can visit a park each day, we did one park each day and went back for the rides we couldn't get on due to rain. There will be times when the outdoor rides(for all 3 parks) will be closed due to lightning in the area. Even if it doesn't rain the lightning has to be 10 miles away from the park in order to reopen.
I just came back from a visit there, did only Universal studios and 1 day is quiet enough depending on kids age and if they like roller coasters or not. If you are also doing Disney I would spend more time at Disney than in Universal, the rides at Disney are way better. If you can provide the ages of kids (if any) and whether or not they like roller coasters I would be able to provide you with better input. I bought the tickets online which was great as the line at the box office was very long. FYI, the prices change between weekends and weekdays so be sure to see if you can make it on a day that is cheaper.
Yes. If you want to see all of Harry Potter you must buy both park tickets.
its depends of the age of your children. For little kids it's better universal studios, for teenagers it's better islands of adventure. fast rides, Jurassic Park and Harry Potter themes, also the are rides for littes kids and parents whom don't like fast rides. Volcano bay is waterpark, very nice for all the family. watch the weather in Feb. We bought 2 days tickets, Islands of adv and volcano bay, more than 10 hrs in both, and we didn't make it all the rides. probably less waiting time line in Feb. Our resort have early admission pass and in additional we bought express pass for the kids ( teenagers ) you can buy online and save money buying a combo tickets. so many options, just looks what it work best for ur family. lunch could. be expensive on site and long waiting time. bring with you snacks, look for the refill cup, its allow you to refill all the day drinks in many spots in the park. The city walk is an open place BTW the parks, stores, restaurants. Have fun!
Just went like 2 weeks ago, stayed at endless summer resort, and only bought a one day 2 park pass (not volcano bay), since we were going only one day I decided to buy the fast pass, and honestly we got on every ride except the Dumbledore one, that one just had an insane wait time and the fast pass didn't cover it. Also staying at a universal resort allows for early admission into the park, so we used that time to line up for velociroster, which also isn't covered with the fast pass. Other than that the most we waited was like 15 minutes.
You also have 7 and 14 day tickets which cover all 3 parks. Superb
Definitely Takes Two days to cover the Parks 😁
Hi! Hust to give you an idea, It took our family of 5 an entire full day (10am - 9pm) to see just one park - Island Adventure and there was still more rides to go on. I highly suggest to Put in your good walking shoes, wear hats if its hot, stay hydrated and bring snacks for all.
You must buy tickets for universal studios, but it's a section called universal city walk that is totally free for everyone. Lots of site seeing and food restaurants and live entertainment.
One ticket
Just my opinions coming from an annual passholder...you are used to hot weather in February but it won't be hot here. About 23°C is the warmest it will get at that time of year and likely to drop much lower in evenings. I would recommend skipping water park. Most places have a pool if you feel the need to swim. Not sure if you are planning to stay on site, but if you are, book tickets through the resort as part of a package. It's the best pricing that way. You will also receive daily express passes free that way. If staying offsite, I would recommend getting tickets on the app. You save a small amount from the price at the gate. I have bought my passes on the app as I'm walking to the gate and still saved $20 US. Get very friendly with the app. You can contact customer service in chat this way. Easy and free. It gives you ride wait times. Maps where you are. Food locations.. The two non water parks are basically two large circles with water/lake in center.
There are 3 parks including Volano Bay. To complete each 1 atleast you need a day if you are visiting with kids. The park tickets are cheaper if you pre-book online. If taken separately price is doubled. Also the tickets are cheaper in the outlet mall or if you come across ticketing agents. There are few resort packages which include the Universal ticket in their fare. Every park you need atleast 7-8 hours, many rides can be taken as single riders to avoid long wait time. Download the universal app which is quit handy and shows waiting time on every ride so accordingly you can save time.
Not sure about about Australia, but in the uk and Ireland they do a two week ticket to the three parks for the price of a two day ticket. About US$379
Two parks, get a ticket that covers both and probably expect to need two days for each of them (4 in total) or alternatively expect to have 2 very long days if you try and cram the parks in one day each.
Universal and islands of adventure separate parks recommend both and not in one day
Yes there are 2 parks, Universal Studios and Universal Island of Adventures. Make sure you know what theme and rides you want, because you need a ticket for both. I accidentally got Universal Studios tickets, but I specifically wanted Jurassic Park for my son. He loves that so much. Luckily I realized we were in the wrong park on time and went to Guest Services who traded tickets for Islands of Adventure with no hassle since it was under 30mins. If you want to do both parks it will definitely take you 2 days to do since both are big and have so much to do. Hope you enjoy!
There are two parks, Universal Studios and Island of Adventures. Both parks require a ticket, you can get the park to park in one day and visit both parks, and you can go to most rides without having to wait too much if you go on a weekday. Also, you can either buy your tickets online or in person at the gate.
There are two parks. You can buy tickets online and save the email with the qr code where you need to show it up at the entrance to print the tickets.
