Both parks are good and have good rides.....if you like Harry Potter the hogwarts express is awesome

I would definitely spend some time at city walk! I would do Island of adventure and Universal Studios, that way you can cross between them and see both Harry Potter worlds! These two have fun rides like The Mummy which isn't as intense, or any of the Harry Potter rides, or simply visiting the Wizarding World! By The Simpsons area they have fun "Carnival" like games! Chance to win stuffed animals.

Island of adventure, Universal Studios

Like the others have said, get an express pass. I would do islands in the morning and studios in the evening

All the rides at Universal Studios are inside. All the rides at Islands of Adventure are outside. So, when the weather kicks in rides at IOA are shut down. And in the heat of the summer inside is a nice break. Get a dining pass for each of you. The pass includes a meal and 2 drinks. It's good at any quick serve restaurant - counter serve. It does not cover sit down restaurants. But you have 30+ choices between the parks. If you are savvy, share a meal, you can get lunch and dinner out of a single pass. Choose your restaurants wisely. If you want a sit down meal make reservations early in the day.

If you like roller coasters I would suggest islands of adventure. If you want to see the full Harry Potter wizarding world and still enjoy some rides universal studios

If you only have one day to spend I would definitely splurge and get everyone an Express Pass, we were just there and I wished we had done that. There is a brand new ride that isn't supposed to open until June 10 but it was already running. It's the Velocicoaster in Jurassic Park and it was AMAZING! That and Hagrids Motorbike Adventure were our two favorites. We liked The Hulk too. All of those rides are in Islands of Adventure which my kids liked better than Universal. Have fun!!

Both Universal and Islands of Adventure offer great food and fun. Wherever, you go start on the back and work back to the front. Most guest will jump on the ride in the front first leaving the back with short lines. Islands has more water rides and bigger roller coasters. That said I preferred Universal.

Doesn't matter where you go as there is plenty to see and do. The unexpected is enjoyment itself and there are plenty of theme vendors for food and drinks. Restaurants have great food with good portions. You'll be guaranteed a good time.

It depends. Do you all like Harry Potter and rollercoasters? Then Islands of Adventure. I prefer Universal. I like Harry Potter and the lines are not so bad. Definitely plan ahead, there are rides that require virtual lines. Sometimes they are gone before the park opens. Be there before any of these parks open. Good luck and have fun!

Definitely Harry Potter. A wizard wand cost $50. That's too expensive I think...

Jennifer Cook | Sep 5, 2021

Spend it on roller coasters...Hagrids ride is excellent...get on the list asap. Harry Potter area is cool to see for sure. Do not waste time waiting for the Hogwarts express between parks...walk out and in instead. Eat inside the park. Bring snacks and waters! Wear sunblock

Terri Dumas | Sep 5, 2021

We are definitely a Universal Orlando family. You cant go wrong with a 2 park day pass

Dawn Rye | Sep 5, 2021

Universal and Islands of adventure are good for all ages. If you do disney, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
