I would say so. Now don't forget that too far in either direction it may not be but that's the travelers section of our town so they try to keep it looking nice and safe.
Yes. It sits on the edge of downtown Charleston so there is access to many different places and events at the Civic Center across the street can make entering and exiting difficult at times, but otherwise it's not too bad. I never once felt unsafe in the hotel or that part of the city.
