Being on the river front next to the music shell is nice with a mini kids park to the left of the music shell. Garage parking is part of the stay which uses your hotel room key which is convenient. Only stayed for 1 night, it's within walking distance from downtown and inner city park. Stayed at 926 which is a corner room facing the river which is nice. It's broken out into 2 spaces, a living space with a kitchenette and fold out bed couch. The other space is the bedroom with 2 full beds and the bathroom. TV in each room. Only 1 light fixture had USB connection for charging cable, the rest was standard 3 prong outlets make sure you have the adapter. The couch is red with the cushions covered in semen stains. The cleaning staff clearly doesn't clean the rooms and both sides of the cushions were covered and just flipped to hide the worst stains. After that it was very questionable if the beds and sheets were clean. Which made a great room and it's potential completely trash.

Recently held a wedding at the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, no matter the time. Place was clean and looked maintained well. Any issues were addressed quickly and professionally. The wedding was beyond what we expected. The space was decorated beautifully. Everything we requested was there. Also, the hotel is right on Kanawha Boulevard, within easy walking distance to some fantastic restaurants and bars. Definitely coming back when we are back in state

Do not stay. I paid online through hotels.com. I got on property and the front desk employee said she needed my card to have on file for incidentals. Well turns out she charged me for my whole room and the lied about what had happened to make it seem like it wasn't her fault. She forgot to see it was paid for and just made me pay again. They resolved it apparently, but I have yet to see any of my money. They take your money quick but tell you it will be 3-5 days before they can give you YOUR money. Only bright spot was the employee Jackie! She did everything she could to help me get my money immediately bur there was nothing that could be done after the earlier employees mistake. She didn't even say she was sorry and she gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. Told her and came back again in 3 hours....the room still hadn't been cleaned. I love Jackie but this is the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Apparently they double charge people alot according to the reviews.

Don’t stay here… stayed 1 night was told the total for the room after fees was $157 but they took $180 out of my account. front desk told me checkout was at 12 so I left a little before 11:45 am at exactly 12:01 they took $180 out of my account again I called them and told them what happened so they said they would refund one of the charges and that the $180 was a mistake and they would only charge $157.. before they refunded anything I was charged 3 times.. a total of $517.. which caused my account to be overdrawn which is a $40 charge from my bank.. so 1 night at this hotel where parking is $15 and breakfast isn’t free.. cost me $557. It wouldn’t have been so terrible if the people I talked to about fixing the charges would have helped me but they kept telling me “we fixed it” and then more money would be taken out.. do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
