More than 5 stars! At the end of June, my fiancee and I were on our way back to NW Ohio from a quick weekend in Virginia Beach when our car died on I-64. There's more to add as to how awful that was, but for time's sake, I'll get to the review. We arrived at the hotel on a Sunday morning. They originally had nothing for us until possibly early afternoon. Then, a few minutes later, Kelli told us she got us a room. Kelli is a godsend!! The staff were great and very courteous! The hotel is very nice and clean. The hallways have a clean, fresh scent. The room was excellent; nice and clean. There is a pool, but we never used it. The continental breakfast was always warm and delicious. If we ever need or want to stay in Charleston again, this will be our first choice by far. Thank you for turning a bad experience into a good one!

I would give these folks 10 stars if I could! AMAZING STAFF!! SO grateful for Kelly and Isaiah and the team working here. They made our 5 day stay so awesome! We travel all over the Eastern region and have stayed at numerous hotels. I have never experienced a staff that treats everyone staying like family. I highly reccomend this location and appreciate everything this staff does to make you feel like you're home. Thank you Hampton Inn Charleston from the bottom of my heart!!

Our experience was chock full of road noise from the nearby interstate highway. Sleep was difficult to be found. Breakfast food was mediocre at best. The oatmeal was runny and a bit too watery. The omelets were dry, but the hardboiled egg was pretty good. I love coffee, but not the coffee here. It's taste was fairly week for coming from a container marked "Bold". We just weren't as satisfied with our experience as we could have been. Oh and this is the second Hampton we've stayed at recently where the sheets were on the bed backwards and there was no body wash or hand soap in our room. Next time we need a hotel stay, we'll try a different establishment.

Very nice hotel but the reason I gave it a 5 star rating was because of Rebekah at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful and went out of her way to help not only us but everyone checking in. She is the reason I would definitely book this hotel again. Hampton Inn is very lucky to have someone like Rebekah representing their organization.
