1)Returned my car FULL of gas. Get a fuel charge for $130. I did what I was supposed to but apparently the guy checking it did not and now I have to be the one jumping through hoops to get my money back. 2) while driving the car the back hatch popped open and would not close for 30 min!! I tried everything. I called Avis for help but of course after sitting on the phone for 20 minutes I knew I would not be getting help in time. Finally after prayer and maneuvering the hatch a little bit it finally clicked. Of course we were too scared to open it again after that. I understand that things happen to vehicles all of the time. But not being able to get someone on the phone for emergency help is frustrating!! We almost missed our flight because of it.

Worse company I ever dealt with. Rented a car out of RsW airport car would not start 2 out of 3 days. Expected compensation & was given 60.00 in gift card for another rental Another time. Then they put over 900.00 in holds on my car after I prepaid. Staff could explain then treated me poorly with no resolution. Very unhappy. Thank you Avis for ruining our stay :(. Never again

We recently rented a vehicle from Avis at the Ft Myers Airport. When we returned the vehicle we were charged an additional $200 for services and fees that we were not told about and an invalid when we received the e-receipt. In reviewing our credit card charges the charge on the card was an additional $50 from the receipt. The attendants at the reservation desk seemed more interested in just having a conversation while checking in then doing their job. I do not recommend renting a vehicle through Avis and this location in particular.

I am the same question. It would be nice if a customer service associate from AVIS RSW would respond as it is impossible to call the local number. If you call it, you are transferred to someone who does not know anything. thank you.
Right outside the baggage carousel. You walk across the street and all the rental agencies are in that building and the cars are right outside that in the parking garage. Very short distance!
If you tent from the airport yes. FYI it's worth it to become a preferred customer. There's no charge and you can go right to your car. Doesn't matter if you tent slot or just occasionally. Safe travels 😄
Hi go outside across the street from the terminal to car rentals. The cars are behind that building.
