Good whale watching now. But you have to boat out to see them.
I would call the aquarium since they are monitoring activity constantly. They're very helpful
Mornings, summer and fall.
They dont have any in the aquarium, you'd have to go for a whale cruise for that.
Check the website ir call the aquarium directly.
Spring or fall
There are no whales on exhibit at the aquarium. There are several whale watching cruise operators in the area. From USA Today: "There are two seasons for whale watching in Monterey Bay, home of a world-famous aquarium. Visit from mid-December through mid-April to see gray whales, dolphins and killer whales migrating, or visit from mid-April through mid-December to see humpback whales, blue whales, dolphins and killer whales."
Whales?
Yes just yesterday 11/24/17
Best to get there as they open because there is less crowd to obstruct views. Stunning sightings all day.
I don't think you can see whales here. At least not on a schedule.
I dont think Monterey bay aquarium hosts whales. However one can be lucky sometimes to spot them from aquarium's ocean view deck from January through November. If you are interested to watch these mammals closely i recommend getting on to a whale watching boat.
Depends, it is best when there is a bait ball. It is also beat during the winter and when the seasons are changing and the whales are migrating.
