Yes. I agree that small lunch or snacks would be good. The food is expensive. But you will have to carry it and it's a lot of walking. I usually carry a small backpack. Also, you can leave and come back in without charge as long as you get your hand stamped at the door. You could have food in a cooler in your car or drive/walk to a cafe and then finish the aquaurium and limited as far as special diets, vegan, gf, etc.
Can bring a small snack but there is a big cafeteria inside.

Yes. I would just take a small lunch for each person. Easier to handle when sightseeing. Enjoy your outings.
Yes. And, it's best that you do. Food there is very expensive and the wait for food can take forever.
