Yea, definitely tons of variety. There is a map at the main parking lot. I normally pick random trails on google maps before the hike, plot the route and see the distance/elevation and choose accordingly

Yes it all depends on where you start of at. Different places have maps out ,like russian ridge open preserve for example. Many hiking places to start of at you should google the area 😎
