Nice quaint little park along the bay with opportunities to unwind, watch wildlife (sea birds) and the tiny planes landing at the nearby airport. Small trails that connect to other nearby parks too.

Gorgeous place to bird watch and walk along the water. Keep an eye out for opportunities to volunteer with Save the Bay, who maintain a native plant nursery nearby! Such a peaceful little park. Bring your lunch and your bird watching gear.

A very nice scenic and bird watching area. Many various bird types and ducks at the bond and surrounding wetlands. Great for a short walk or a longer hike on nearby trails.

Easy to get to, plenty of parking, a nice walking path, and lots of beautiful birds.

The gated road typically shuts at sunset.

Can I go swimming?

Not in the duck pond. At Shoreline park in MV there are kite boarders in wet suits, never seen any one try to swim. At the very northern end of shoreline park, shoreline Blvd, there's a rec building and lake.. . You have to pass a ranger 's gate after the amphitheater, and can also ask there.

Can you fish there

Nope right at the pond. But there is a small area from the bridge in front of the interpretation center where you can. Rangers can show you where. Not sure if it's worth it though...
