Another awesome place to go hiking and if lucky take a walk in the clouds. Parking lot is sizable enough and has a couple of toilets. The lot was open when I went there but do check the time since one of other lots was closed. There isn’t any drinking water so carry lots of it as you can probably spend hours hiking the numerous trails. I’ve just been there once and look forward to more hikes.

Great views of the Bay Area. On some points of the trail you could see the Bay Area on one side and the ocean on another.

Best place to hike. Beautiful views of the hills.

It’s quiet, serene, quaint and beautiful. You can hike for miles and not see anyone (week days ya at least). Trail are beautiful - both open and shaded. Lots of wild life to see. You occasionally share path with cyclist, so be aware. You can see both very pretty hills and forest on one side and also entire Bay Area with its buildings and campuses in the other. Quite a unique spectrum of scenery. Parking is ample and free. There is restroom. Difficulty is easy to moderate. Not stroller friendly.

No dogs allowed as far as I know
I don't recall it closing. I was just there last week
Campsites and trails open half an hour before sun rise, and close half an hour after sunset
To my knowledge the preserve is open 24h, but the parking area closes 30 min after sunset. They do enforce the parking closure (locking the gate) so you would need to find your own parking elsewhere.
