I see there is (or was) a closure in upper Santa Ynez (Romero gate)? My trip (this May) is for the Sisquoc loop. Are there any closures in effect in this area ? (Santa Lucia - San Rafael districts) ?

Google the Los Padres web site. It has a list of all the current closures. If ypu dont see what you are looking for, you can use one of the contact numbers for the district and call their desk clerk to find out. Also, most of the Los Padres opens all gates in early may.
