Can I freely shoot a pellet gun as long as the regulation are beeping made?

Depending on where you go you're able to shoot real guns in most spots. A pellet gun is not considered a "firearm" because is has no gun powder to be ignited and used to propel the bullet. A pellet gun is able to be shot all thru the Los Padres, as long as you aren't shooting towards a other person or campsite! Hope this Helps! Always consider what's behind your target. If that's clear, or say a dirt berm for example, you should be good.

The places that I have been to within the forrest prohibit target shooting. However, you can hunt, but you must have hunting license and if no tags you can hunt rabbits and ground squirrels. A pellet gun in a safe direction should be fine.
