He can only evict you, if any of his relatives are moving in the house. If you live in, an apartment, he can only evict you if your rent is not paid. You have until the 5th of every month to pay your rent in full, in the state of California. But visit the tenants rights on capp street in San Francisco.

It depends. Is your place under the rent control ordinance (meaning it was built before july 1979)? Do u know for sure that the landlord truly lives on the property? I once had a landlord who claimed to live there but turned out it was just a storage room. How is the set up to your place laid out? Did u rent the place as a whole or did u rent a room sharing the common areas w/ other roommates? Whose names are the utilities under? The sftu is a great place to start, and the rent board could also help too...they cant give legal advice but they can help guide (if the place falls under the rent control guidelines) SFTU - 558 Capp St (between 21 & 22 streets) SFRB - 25 Van Ness (x st Market) Housing committee of SF 1540 Mission Street & @ the church on 7th & geary.

The answer is correct except that if he's already had a relative move into a unit in the building then he cannot move another relative into your unit too. He can only do that once, not twice.
