It is one of the great mysteries of nature that caves are always found directly beneath gift shops. Just kidding, of course, but Cave of the Mounds does indeed have a fantastic gift shop. We specialize in rocks and fossils and other treasures from mother nature. There are a wide variety of educational items and books about geology, and Wisconsin's natural history. Like the Cave of the Mounds itself, the shop is open daily year round.

There are technically two, one is where you enter the cave and the other is close by. There is a fantastic selection (I picked up aragonite, a trilobite, peacock ore and more!)

There is a gift shop featuring many treasures from mother nature including gemstones, minerals and fossils - some fashioned into artful objects. Plus there is a good selection of books and souvenirs, and a gardens section in season. In fact, some say that it is a mystery of nature that caves are always found directly below gift shops!
