Beautiful place to enjoy a day off! Plenty of things to do like hiking, photography, picnic, there is a pool, kids playground, and many other activities. You must have a sticker for the wisconsin parks or pay the daily fee. There grill on site and many picnic tables

We enjoyed a day trip to this park in May. Our kids (6 and 4) enjoyed climbing both towers—the views are well worth it. We took a short hike and enjoyed all the wild flowers as well as large boulders by the trail. The vault toilets are kept clean and maintained. There is a very nice playground and picnic area. We visited midweek and saw less than 10 people. It’s a quiet and peaceful gem of a park and is such an easy drive from Madison.

Nice State park in the little town of Blue Mound. It has a pool, who knew? There are plenty of places to grill here and the view is very nice. There's a children's park here if you want to bring your kids and they don't like walking around looking at stuff. Pet friendly in the paved paths.

A sprawling state park with plenty of elevation to tackle for the hiker seeking Birdseye views and photo opportunities. Two towers offer sunrise and sunset horizons, but prepare yourself for many steps to the top of the mound and tower. The trails offer many miles of exploration, and the facilities are top notch when compared to other state parks in the area - complete with a modern shelter and splash pad.

Per site. I have a family of 5 and we've never had to pay extra
Hello, That's a GREAT question! I am the owner of Blue Mounds Storage and am working with Google on this. This same thing happened in 2016 and I do not know how our 2 sites get crossed. Believe me, it's frustrating getting calls all summer long for camp sites, so I am trying to resolve this issue ASAP.
The water is probably fine, it's the outside temp that would be too cold.
Tables, yes. Don't recall a beach, but there is a pool.
Yes, when you arrive you can walk inside the ranger station and see a map of sites along with merchandise and other helpful information. They will provide you with a pass to put in your vehicle window while you stay. The guy who helped us was very friendly.
No, the trails are open during hunting. Th dnr had a good website for eash state park. They have electric sites for camping but i am not sure if the whole campground ever closes or not...
If I recall there are grills right outside the pool. For sure a one minite drive up the hill.... Splash pad is a kiddie play area inside the pool area. Have fun!
